More likely it's the bus pushing the Range Rover. |

That said, LRs are impressive. There is a video one chap on Instaspace who has just put a video of him towing/assisting a 28t artic in the snow with a D3. Done similar in my D4 when a chap got his driven wheels stuck by backing into a field to turn round when he realised he wouldn’t fit under the low bridge near me..... most impressive..... granted probably cost me 1/2 a clutch... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

A family member told me he used to use Police Classic RR’s to pull broken down artics up motorway slip roads. Good old low range.... |

I’m sure one of the reasons plod used the classic was to tow artics out of the way on the motorway. I presume that’s also why the Highways Agency TOs have Discos or Shoguns. |

I wonder how they stopped, hopefully the bus didn't write off the FF |

I was going to say - why didn't he use a shorter strop to make it really hairy! |

A batch of Classics were made for the motorway police with big rubber blocks fitted to the front specifically to push broken down trucks off the main lanes and onto the hard shoulder.
