Borne. However, the Scottish government has been very clear about provisions covering essential travel, and car repair if neccesary for a functioning vehicle is exempt as you know. The heater for just heating the cabin may not be essential, however, it also does not heat up the engine when cold starting thus extending wear to the engine and unnecessarily increasing emissions.
