IID Tool Battery Selection

I have just fitted a Varta G14 AGM to my 2011 4.4 Vogue SE.

Have used Gap tool to confirm battery replacement.

How do I tell the car it now has an AGM battery?

Been into the CCF files for battery type but none of the options say AGM.

What should I be looking for?

Regards

David

Battery replacement just seems to tell the car it has a new battery.

Mine was the same when I fitted a new G14, just battery replacement on my IID. The original Land Rover battery from new on mine was a AGM so maybe replacing like for like it doesn’t need to be told..

Indeed -- it should be AGM, so the car doesn't need to know it is AGM -- it just needs to know it's a new battery and alter the charging cycles accordingly (apparently) Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
