| L405 C1A20-64 Pressure increases too slow -Fixed | |
My second LR assist call out in 12 weeks of approved LR 2nd hand ownership.
It all started while on dynamic cruise control and suddenly "Red Triangle" on screen IEB (Intelligent Emergency Brake) failure Driver Intervene  Disabled cruise control.
Then yellow "suspension locked at normal height" lite illuminated.
Fortunately I was heading home anyway.
Lots of forum searches and Googling all pointed to a compressor leak somewhere etc, Using my cheap Autel AP200 sure enough, it showed many DTC registered, but this fault C1A20-64 was the issue.
Phoned LR Assist who came out and tech knew exactly what the fault was, and he replaced AIR SUSPENSION SILENCER VALVE LR121262. He said its a common issue and affected certain vin range.
I was surprised the only access to the compressor was to drill out rivets from the casing and the actual valve is also held in place by 2 rivets as well.
So quite happy with LR Assist experience yet again! 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
