Surface mould on underside of spare wheel cover/ boot floor

I sprayed it with bleach solution. Then hosed it down.... any other suggestions?

Astonishingly HID has not said a word about it drying off in a bathroom, maybe she hasn't realised it will take until Tuesday

Can't see what HID could complain about, the rad's protected and she'll probably use it as a noticeboard.

(suggestions for her messages to the OP please)

Is there evidence of damp in the wheelwell? Have a good look round the 'well, could be water ingress from various places, tailgate seals, hinges and the water that gets onto your left hand cubby electrics, audio etc. Quite a few threads on water ingress in the area.

HTH Cheers
Richard

Further ramblings, you've probably thought of them:

Mould may spread to other surfaces nearby so it may be worth a clean of the well and anything in it too if you've not already. Have you had aything you can think of that may give rise to the mould in the boot area, wet dog, parcels, rubbish to the tip? When was the last time you had a need to be under the cover/floor? Cheers

Left it there to see how long it took HID to mention it!... not a word until Wednesday when one of the children knocked it over! My wife is awesome.

now considering degreasing a set of weber carburettors in the dishwasher.
