Not quite, no...
The 3 way kit you linked is a 4-Ohm set of speakers, whereas the ones I installed in that thread are a 2-Ohm kit.
The difference is that 4 Ohm speakers need twice as much current to achieve the same volume. So (as far as I understand), you're going to need to tweak the balance of the speakers to have them all sound as equally loud.
The amp will need to drive more power to those 4 Ohm speakers to achieve an equal sound.
In theory, you can just knock the front/rear fader forward to do this, but I figured I'd rather stick to the original spec's and used the 2 Ohm speakers instead.
I also ignored the crossovers provided and retained the original wiring to make use of the original DSP and it's setup - my understanding is that using the passive crossovers may have affected the timing of the Logic7, causing a degradation in the overall sound quality when using Logic7, but also possibly in the timing of the 14 speakers.
I'm not an expert on this, was just what I read around when researching, so very happy to be corrected by someone who knows more definitively
