Rear side light ns

Dont you just love progress not sure I see more duff led lights than we ever had with filaments!
The odd thing is on door open the light works but regularly just does not want to work. Done a dry out in the oven but still no joy. Looks like its time to part with £100s Rolling Eyes
Anyone any suggestions the unit looks non serviceable to me. Help got CAR OWNER VIRUS!

Side light and brake light but as you unlock lights up and goes out left side!
When you turn on auto or manual mostly does not work. Side bit is ok. Help got CAR OWNER VIRUS!

Rear side lights intermittent

New unit cured the fault, guess unlock is a momentary flash that doesn't trigger the solid state fuses. When on for a longer period they must give up and open cct. So the only preventative maintenance I would suggest the condensation is the culprit. Help got CAR OWNER VIRUS!

The condensation thing is interesting. I had a bit in mine (lights all worked though) drilling a few extra drain holes did not work.

So I just injected a bit of soapy water, got to work with the compressor and lo and behold bubbles appeared on the backplate (round a screw or a moulding IIRC) a bit of black sealant and Roberts your Mothers brother - no trouble since. Might save someone a few quid, although I'm sure I will fork out for the newer lights in the future. Very Happy Geoff
