Thank you for your reply. If you mean power off and re-boot then yes as it had a new battery fitted very recently, and prior to that our local independent tried a software update and a "reset" which I assume is the same thing? |

A bit more pondering today and I have almost convinced myself that it has to be the vehicle speed input that is missing and hence it doesn't know that the journey has started. Can anyone confirm where the signal originates (rear wheel sensor?) and how it gets to the Sat Nav - wire or MOST? Pointers to any diagrams, components involved or pin number/connectors much appreciated. At about the time this was first noticed the car had a blocked sunroof drain and water came above the headlining and down the very rear pillar (trim piece with the speaker) on the nearside. It knocked out the Parking Aid Module but there are a few other bits in that area including some MOST boxes which could have been affected. 2012 L322 Westminster V8 - Current
