[SOLD] 2007MY Supercharged

After five and a half years of ownership I have decided that I now longer need the two Land Rover vehicles I currently own

So up for sale is my 2007MY Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged

First registered November 2006 (56)
Java Black with Ivory Interior
Standard specification for the Year with the exception of Privacy Film to the rear
Current mileage is just under 165,000 miles, but will increase slightly
MOT due 23rd December 2021. Passed on the 10th of December, with no advisories

Apart from the CD Player which gave up recently, everything works as it should to the best of my knowledge

The vehicle is best described as having done its mileage and is far from perfect, the paintwork has light scratches on most panels, the bonnet and front bumper have stone chips. The rear bumper was repainted and lacquered during the summer but has not been polished to get the correct finish. The paintwork certainly would benefit from some loving care. A few rust areas are showing in the usual places.

The four 20" road wheels were professionally completely refurbished about two years ago and have no kerbing marks, just a few minor surface scratches. Tires are the correct 255/50R20 Pirelli Scorpion and are all about 4mm across the tread.

The interior is in good condition but again is not perfect, signs of wear on the drivers seat and drivers door pull handle. there are a number of light scratches on the rear seat but no tears. Carpet and rubber mats fitted.

The spare wheel well is dry, the sunroof drain channels were also check a few months ago.

I purchased the RR at around 107,000 miles, the service book was not present, but was promised and yes never actually arrived! Details of services were provided and the name of the LR dealers that had carried out the services. So they were contacted but as both had changed ownership they said full details were unavailable.

December 2010 43471 miles Droitwich LR
November 2011 58367 miles Droitwich LR
November 2012 72183 miles Droitwich LR
December 2013 84796 miles Droitwich LR

After this Hadley Green London - no records kept

I had a former Land Rover technician carry out a 105k service at 107,825 miles during July 2015, he also completed in August 2016 a service at 118546 miles when the auto gearbox fluid, filter pan and sleeve were renewed plus both diff oils and the transfer box oil were changed.

Since then the following services/work has been carried out by myself and/or my brother in law, who has his own workshop business and specialises in LR and 4x4s. Two exceptions to this are noted below.

August 2017 129993 miles Service plus rear discs and pads
July 2018 141789 miles Service
July 2019 154216 miles Service plus both metal front to rear brake pipes and rear flexi pipes (genuine LR)
September 2020 162039 miles Service plus both front strut/air bags, all front suspension arms/ball joints, O/S/F
driveshaft, carrier bearing and seal. Four Wheel Alignment also completed

October 2019 Front Diff and N/S/F driveshaft*
November 2018 New Rear wiper motor and GPS roof Aerial
April 2020 Supercharger snout coupler replaced with solid type
April 2020 Primary and auxiliary belts (genuine) tensioners also replaced
April 2020 New Yuasa Battery
June 2020 System software Update*

*Independent Specialist

I have no doubt forgotten a few things but please contact me should you wish to know anything I have not listed.

Looking for around £4500

Pictures will follow when it stops raining and I can clean the vehicle

Not sure if this is definitive, but I’ve used it with some positive results:

Hermes. Thanks for your reply. This service is for cars first registered much later than mine, but I did check just in case. Nothing unfortunately.
Sad

Quavey. I hope to upload pictures tomorrow. Vehicle is currently in East Yorkshire, 12 miles north of Hull. Both rear wheel arches have paint bubble in the usual places. The top tailgate on the lower lip also. Early September when the service ect. was carried out a small hole the size of a ping pong ball was cleaned up and welded on the rear near side of the sill.

Back up FOR SALE

Currently 171,000 miles with MOT until December 2022, last MOT 1 advisory NSF brake pipe, not done but I have the pipe. Supercharger had a full professional Rebuild in April 2021 (165724 miles) at a cost of £800+. The price reflects the need for TLC on the paintwork and the bodywork around the three usual areas; I have done temporary rectification to the two wheel arches. They were not that bad I thought it best to do something to slow down the deterioration. CD still does not work and a possible wheel bearing sound is obvious. Private Plate will be removed before sale. £4000 but open to Sensible offers.
