Roof rails -

Anyone fitted front to back roof rails?

Am looking to fit myself (did the same on my D5)
Wondering if anyone has any experience in doing this hints or tips?

I know i need finishers and rails.
I have seen there are copy parts - are they any good?

Am looking to get silver rails and finishers
To act as contrast to the back paint work - my lower trims are silver so should (in my mind) work

Any advice welcomed

I have them on my car but had them fitted by the dealer when I bought it. I’d stick with OEM rather than copy parts, but looking at them they’re probably a straightforward fit if you’re handy with tools. I’m not!

I had mine fitted by the dealer for a roof box, but overall I like the look of them over without.. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

Both - thanks for the comments -
Yes - to be honest I am leaning towards the OEM rails - I know they are more expensive but I have known people have issues with fitting copies (OK D5 not FFRR)

Andy S - thanks for your picture - thats the sort of contrast I am hoping to get - silver rails to complement the lower silver acents.

Think it might be time to talk to Dan at Duckworth Parts - always found them to be very reasonalbe & speedy.

Thanks again -

I have silver roof and fitted original silver roof rails myself. It's an easy job.

If I remember correctly, the original trim is held in place with clips and strong double sided tape, so use plastic tools to avoid scratched when you remove. ----------

We have similar taste then, I did it for the same reason. It’s a personal view, but like Jase I think the car looks better with them.

Pics of yours when it’s done please!
