Drivers door handle

I went to my RR this morning about 3am to go to work it was -4 outside unlocked the car then pulled the the handle and heard a crunching sound thought this was the door breaking free from the seal as car was white over!!
When I closed the door when I was sat in it the latch did not engage and door bounced back open I did this a couple of times to make sure !!
I then held the door shut and pressed the lock but and it locked but I will not open with the inner or outer handles now!!
Did a search on here seams it could be either the cable snapped or frozen is the only way to tell by removing the door card which is locked shut(I climbed out of the passenger side) ๐Ÿ˜‚
Thanks
Sorry for the long explanation

common 'frozen lock' problem..

this can be solved with liberal amounts of WD40 or better still lots of grease packed in the lock..

the door seals will need a rubber lubricant on them like gummi pfledge... ... - .- -.

I had this a few winters ago in the L322 when all the doors were frozen solid (-10 outside). Ended up climbing in via the tailgate! Thankfully it was dark, so the neighbours didn't see Laughing SDV8 AB MY 2019
