Ok, so with the tax being due at the end of the month, the warranty renewal due at the end of the month and my insurance also being due at the end of the month I've decided to trade the car and take the loss unless anyone wants to buy it for £30k before the end of the month.

It's being MOT'd right now

I'll give this thread one more week before I commit to trading it

Si

Thanks lol

Most of the trade websites are offering between £26-£29k, not just one

They must be looking to make a margin and shifting these cars somewhere so I'd expect my car to be on a forecourt at mid thirties shortly

Just had a quick look on autotrader and there’s a lot of AB’s in the trade at just under £30k.... there’s a 65 plate with 89k on the clock for £29,995 and I bet they would knock £500 off that which makes your trade offer look v good.....

Is that an AB with full main dealer service history, electric tow bar, deployable steps, upgraded audio , in a desirable colour and with a 4.4 engine ?

Not sure about the tow bar and history, but it’s the same colour as yours, 4.4 and has got a lot of bells and whistles, it’s got those turbine type wheels on? Not sure if that’s better or worse but there are other similar cash with extended warranty till next year so am guessing they have LR history?

I always find it depressing when I am selling a car as I always seem to find cars that are less cash than mine is worth to me, nowadays if I get an offer that’s anywhere near what I would sell it for I just take the offer as less aggro 👍
