New Purchase

Well decision made and car bought. Very pleased at the purchase, having gearbox oil and filter changed before delivery. Drives very well and absolutely mint. Would like some side steps fitted at some point, what would going rate for this be?

Yes that's all I need really, are they genuine LR ones? wife has bad foot so steps will help. Do you know if pattern steps are ok or are there fitting issues. Seems to be a few available just wondered what they would cost fitted. Will ring a few places and see.

Fir them your self mate. Very easy to fit don't require to much skill or tools

I've just fitted some pattern ones myself. One rigger bolt was out of line but other then that they all lined up with no trouble.

Mine had to go garage as the last steps was cut off so the bolts in situ are pretty rusted away so easier to let them do it

Yes, pattern ones fine.... fit them yourself. Just need a spanner and a socket for the steps.

Great, sounds easy enough. Will have a look round to see where's best to buy a set from.
Thanks for tips.

Might be worth putting a wanted ad on the For Sale page. Peeps have sold steps on here

Have seen a few on EBay, look alright to me. Ones at dealers seem a lot more expensive but that's usual. Around £150 seems fair to me. Prefer new to used in this case.
