I just wanted to say hello. I have been lurking for a while and this forum was a great source of knowledge for my pre-purchase research.
I recently bought a Santorini black, cream interior L405 AB. 14 plate with 50K on the clock. SDV8.
It is my second LR having owned a pre facelift Disco 2 a few years ago. I really enjoyed that car.
I dont have too much planned re mods although I have stuck a newer style grill on already! I am also waxing & waning re the door vents/grills. They are currently colour matched and I may switch to silver.
Dependent on my mood/enthusiasm I have been known to conduct a little self-maintenance so who knows how brave I will be with this. On a scale of 1-10 I am probably a 4 in 'spannering'.
Car broke down with 1 week of ownership and was back in the original garage and LR Newbury for at least 3 weeks.
A new engine management ECU, wiring looms and recoded injectors later and she is driving like a champion, no issues since.
Better photos will follow but here's 1 to start me off!
