Which side is bank A

Hi all.
Silly question time again. On a UK RHD L322 tdv8 vogue, is bank A on nearside or offside of engine.

I believe bank A or 1 is the drivers side as you sit in the vehicle 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

Yes, looking from the back of the engine towards its front, the right bank is bank A.
