Hi, I recently bought a sealed music dvd which will not play in my Range Rover. I get a blue screen saying ‘video signal is not correct’. I have tried switching to NTSC but that doesn’t help. The system plays other DVD’s fine. Anybody know how I can resolve this?

does the music dvd play in other dvd players in the household? ... - .- -.

Hi Stan, thanks for reply, yes, it has rse and the dvd plays fine on a Sony DVD player at home...,,

just a guess but take all the other dvd's out of the changer and just try this one single dvd.. ... - .- -.

Just tried but no joy, still the same blue screen with same message.....

the only thing i can think of is to investigate the denso info in the wiki and see if the old tech in the FF is capable of decoding your newer disc.. ... - .- -.

mjdronfield: yes it plays other dvds no problem. I’ve had this problem once before, again, a music dvd (that dvd is maybe 10 years+ old).....

So it’s a DVD with music videos on it? Not just music, so it has a normal DVD menu and chapter selection when you play it in the house, just like a film? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Hi, yes, a dvd film of a band in concert. It had PLAY, SONG SELECTION and SETTINGS in the Menu.....just a standard dvd. Not a copy! Dvd was released this year.

been talking to my son re this and he reckons it could be a 'region code' problem....the UK is region 2 and its possible your disc might not be..
