Could anyone recommend a dealer for servicing etc in the South Bucks area. I don't mind travelling a little bit but am struggling to find one I feel comfortable with. The one on the A40 towards london had a great sales dept but service was shocking and there is in very near slough who I just found rude.
I am thinking of Guy Salmon in ascot, does anyone have experience of them? Or am I expecting too much and they are all the same.

I have used Guy Salmon ascot for repairs, found them ok about as good as I expected, but as usual they kept finding additional work that they said should be done

I also do not like Stratstone Burnham, used them a couple of times but when I tried to buy a brand new l405 from them found them most unhelpful, they just didn't seem interested, shame as they are only 5 miles from home

I finished up buying from Stratstone in Aylesbury, 30 miles away from me but so far have found them friendly & helpful both regards the purchase and servicing, but having to wait 2 months for some recall works as they want it for more than a day so I need a loaner which is not available until May

I have use an indy in ascot Nick Kerner they were very good, that was on my older L322's various other LR's this one is still the best

If this isn't too late and you aren't just looking at main dealers, I'd definitely recommend Rovertune in Reading to you. It might be a bit too far west for you, but I've used them for many years now and have nothing but good to say for them. I'm pretty sure you'll find that a quick search on here will bring up positive feedback from others.

Older thread, but haven't found anything more recent for the South Bucks area so thought I'd see if recommendations for independent servicing is still the same? I have little interest in going back to Park Royal, Kings Langley or Slough main dealers after previous visits.

Happened to drive past Nick Kerner a few months ago and popped in. They confirmed they have all the diagnostics kit. Hopefully just routine servicing on a 2017 L405, but I want it plugged in for the updates etc.

Don’t know if Landers in Houghton Regis is too far away? They are independent but have access to the JLR systems and can maintain your service record. No fancy showroom or anything. I’ve been very pleased with them, and our whole area seems to use them as they have a fleet of branded courtesy vehicles so easy to spot 🤣

Can recommend 2 Independent dealers in Kings Langley, Langley 4x4 who recently replaced a fuel injector on mine and Jason Hollick Land Rovers who has carried out my last few services.

Both have access to the on line service history if you wanted to step away from main dealers.

I use Langley 4x4 all they do is LR mainly Range Rover & Discovery and have all the equipment for LR analyzing.
