The Autel TS608 is able to take them out of shipping mode, it's an expensive bit of kit though - maybe find someone who had one or *cough* buy one on Amazon, test it and send it back as not suitable - the change from shipping to park does work but for some reason the Autel doesn't give you a 'success' message.

Yep, I've got the 501, it's a good bit of it but it can't transmit the wake code to the sensor (It's a different frequency) the sensors will work once triggered by the tool and won't put a warning on the dash until 20 mins into a journey - but the warning will stay there until cleared.
You'll be able to do all the usual stuff like coding in the sensors but they won't transmit until they're in 'park' mode, even if they detect pressure, which is how some brands of sensors are taken out of shipping mode.

I have an L405 MY2013. I do have the service menu, but no TPMS viewing option. Which model year did that function appear? Is this function possible to activate by editing the CCF? No such option in the IID-Tool, at least. I have a TS501, so I can walk around blipping all the wheels, but it's cumbersome compared to just checking on the dash as I'm checking the oil level.
