IIRC there’s a 165 point check - I’d be asking what they checked and what the criteria / results were |

I wouldn’t wipe my on that 165 point check list. I bet they never ever go through it diligently.

However, if there’s a paper checklist with the pad thickness on it and an MOT advisory - then all you need to do is measure and see which one is right. If it’s not the approved checklist, then they have little defence. |

Trying to get as much info as possible to get my issue resolved. I'm new to the dealer and newer car game having run older sports and discos for years. Finally managed to save for a newer FFRR. |

Take it back then and make your point, pointing out date of purchase, how many miles traveled since and type of driving you’ve done since, if not already done 👍🏻

I won't hold my breath. Most dealers will fob you off....be polite but firm. Raising one's voice in the showroom when punters are around usually works Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Seems a strange thread. Car is used, it has worn items e.g. tires, brakes, batteries, etc. All of these are not warranty items. They were advisories which says you should watch these items and be prepared to replace in future. Dealer has no responsibility to restore to as new condition. If you wanted a new car then you could pay new price...seems like a lot of anti against dealer for selling a used car at a used price.... |
