Electric foldable rear seat... stuck.

Hi guys,

wondering if any of you had this issue so far.

The '40' part of the 60/40 foldable rear seat, which is electrical as you know, is stuck half way.
Won't move, and if I push the butten to put it down the front passenger seat (I have an LHD so it's the same side) moves forward??

Will call the dealer tomorrow, but hoping someone has an answer already. '17 Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged AB (Sold)

Mine started doing the exact same thing, it cannot be water as she has been parked indoors for the last 8 months, barely moved, plus we do not have the UK wet situation to deal with where I live..

60 portion works perfectly, 40 portion goes down and stays down...

I pulled the fuses (there are two) in the right side boot panel having to do with the seats, I can take a pic if you like, they were fine, but on re-insertion a whole ton of clickety clicks happened from some or other electronic mystery box and then the seat came up when the button was pressed...

A few days later I needed to use her with the seat down, same result, same fuses removed, same clickety click, and she is back up again...

Obviously something is rebooting, unfortunately does not seem to stay booted...

So I tried pulling the fuses first... no result.

I contacted the dealer and they said they have a software update for this problem. So got the car to the dealer but... no result.

Car is going to the dealer for a longer period of time now to get a full diagnosis Neutral .

Does anyone know where exactly the seat module(s) is/are located in the car? Just want to check on water infiltration before I spend hunderds of euro's at the dealer. '17 Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged AB (Sold)

hello
got the same symptoms,
see here; https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic53990.html
it was water who stayed a long time below the carpet in front of the rear seat
you can find the electronic unit; by
1 removing the door plate
2 lifting the carpet just in front of the rear seat
3 you will find the unit , attached below an aluminium cover, with the four electric plugs
4 remove the aluminium bracket; 4 screws
and you have it 2013 L405 V8 5.0 Aspirated Autobiography

Since you have an LHD car as well, is it behind the drivers or the passenger seat? '17 Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged AB (Sold)

Little update.

I checked for water and all is dry. Then I was fiddling with the seats, and when I put the passenger seat to the front as much as possible the rear seat started moving again Shocked .

I then put the passenger seat back in its original position, started the car, and the airbag light was on. Went to a friend to have a read out and it gives a permanent error on the 'right side airbag deployment control', error code B0028-13.

My current thougt is that there's a faulty sensor or a wire cut under the front passenger seat, so the rear seat doesn't know the location of the front seat and therefore goes in fault.

To be continued... '17 Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged AB (Sold)
