A sad goodbye (for now)

So after 18 months of delight - sadly I am now selling the 4.2 SC.

A new job means 10-12k miles a year and I've been informed I need to buy something more economical!!

I will be sad to see it go - I've loved owning this car. I'm hoping to be back as soon as I can, probably with a MY10 onwards 5.0 SC or (dare I say it) an L405.

Car will be listed in the for sale section shortly so I hope it can stay within the forum.

Cheers

LtD

Go on then, depress us - what are you buying instead ?

You need your man maths to kick in - for example - we have a 2005 Mini Cooper S - and get better economy out of the L405 SDV8.

You know it makes sense Laughing

I wish I knew what to get instead - its likely to be a lease car so waiting on details from the company in case there are restrictions.

I'm tempted to stay in the LR family but a quick look on lease options is fairly depressing.

Discovery Sport is there, as is an Evoque but not keen.

Depending on budget maybe a Velar but I've no idea as yet.

The New Evoque is a very good car compared with the old one! I was very pleasantly surprised Whistle Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig - good to know.

Car is now sold. Have to admit having had a full fat - the evoque and velar both look so small!!

If it’s a company car and you can Make it work then electric may be a tax efficient option.

If it’s a cash bung and get it yourself job then less so..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
