Yes, not for the faint hearted looking at Alfapats work. Lukcily the 'inner' sill still appears intact and the jacking point is solid...for now.. Big Cry

Still got the other side to do, MOT next week , drivers side not too bad but bottom forward wheel arch edge needs a hole temporarily repaired to get test passed. Then a rear right sill re build, Not pulling apart to inspect damage before MOT.

I show the repair not quite finished then , but all done before I move onto the horrors of the offside.

The biggest challenge is reshaping what is rotted away , like this;

A lot of the inner lower arch has gone , anyway will see what I can do . More later , hopefully of an improvement.

Good work especially welding upside down! Bit late but Fitzee's Fabrications on YouTube has a great method for patches.

Good luck with MOT.

Nearly there, couple more pics to come , this is not a professional job by any means but it’s doing what takes to be serviceable.

Did mine recently, horrible job and not something I want to do again. Luckily I managed to find a rust free section from a scrap vehicle. Makes for a very tidy job.

Sorry but I’m trying to picture it in its right place. Lucky to find such a section. I’m just about there until I refitted the sill cover , nowhere near it’s right shape or position. Bottom front of rear arch.
