I have never understood why people are so dismissive about the L322’s off road ability? When it was released it was the most capable all rounder that Land Rover had ever built.

What I liked about this drive is the car is shod with well worn low profile road tyres, the driver was slow and steady. Better tyres and it would have done even better. 2007 TDV8 VSE

Slightly off topic.

I know I could use my IID to increase the ground clearance on my TDV8 L322. What is a sensible height to go to? I'm talking about the ground to wheel arch height as the IID uses for calibration.
