Brake pipe help/advice

Hi all in the middle of trying to replace osf brake pipe corroded at flexi end and wondering if
It’s possible or even safe to cut away the rusted part and make a new join further up think it’s the original steel pipe which all looks good (looks impossible to get to replace to be honest)

Cheers

I recently replaced all pipes with OEM ones. Can't say I encountered any problems during the install, and genuine LR pipes are cheap.
Just dropped the rear subframe a bit to pull the pipes through. 2007 L322 3.6 TDV8 Stornoway
