Have you tried checking for DTCs/fault codes? Was doing that recently and cleared one relating to the speakers which seems to have resolved an issue with the lower passenger door speaker. If the amp had gone none of the speakers would work?

Could well be a bad connection in the plugs / sockets on the top of the dsp, particularly the plug nearest the centre of the car.
