I too wondered why the view normally shown when reversing is considerably cropped when compared with the view via the camera check screen.

Does anyone know if it is possible to alter the view shown when reversing to the full uncropped view from the camera?

Fyi I changed my camera to an aftermarket one when the original stopped working but that doesn't alter the basic question as the video feed to the head unit clearly is wide angle. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

Hi Ian,

Sorry for the delay. I used this from ebay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332626937827

you will need to modify the standard camera housing so this camera can fit and then play around with the angle of the camera before I then used black silicone to seal it and hold it in position. I also used the connectors off the old (standard OEM) camera and joined them on to the new camera wires so that the loom on the car remains standard.
It is a bit of a faff to do but quite satisfying and much less costly than an OEM camera.
This replacement camera has the reversing guidelines which aren't that useful IMO but the picture resolution is better than the OEM, especially in low light conditions with the dreadful RR reversing lights even after fitting brighter LED bulbs!

Good luck!
