It looks like the sensor for the High Beam Assist.

If it isn’t, I’m sure someone will be along very shortly to identify it.

I’m not sure, but is it a dash cam? Only say that as there is a wire dangling down at the side of it that’s not plugged in to anything.

Thanks everyone, now I know it's the high beam assist sensor I can steer clear of it when I fit the dash cam.
