United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Bonatti Grey
2003 Ffrr 4.4 v8 for sale

Afternoon all

So Range rover is up for sale now

2003 Range rover V8

V8 has lots and lots of history. Picked the car up with 148k on now sitting on 168k.
Passed its mot this morning 2/2/2022 with no faults. Has had plenty of work done to the car including the sills. Has stamped history up until 144k in the land rover book then most of it was done my myself with receipts too prove

Very reliable car and never given me any troubles. Plenty of items replaced through out my ownership and done by myself such as alternator, water pump, radiator, air con radiator, battery upgraded to yuasa 020, oil and plugs changed in the last 5k, rocker cover gaskets.

Everything on the inside works such as the heated seats, electric seats, aircon. Leather ivory seats, drivers seat is more worn then the others but still pretty comfortable. Outside has been cleaned but I'll clean the inside this weekend.

Gearbox is nice and smooth through all changes in drive, sport and tiptronic. Had megaflush and service kit done at around 150k. Hi/low range works as you'd expect. My driveway is full of 20mm gravel stones. In normal drive it struggles to drive through from a stand still. Flick the hi/low range switch and it just pulls itself straight through without even touching the throttle. Hill descent works also

Has normal road tyres as I was driving from Essex to county Durham and Essex to Lincoln 8 times a month so never had no reason to buy all terrain tyres but these journeys was done in absolute comfort and enjoyment as long as you could ignore the fuel bill however the v8 sound is a good distraction.

Bad points

Has a few scratches all over as shown and some minor damage on the nearside rear wing but given the car is 19 years old don't expect it too be showroom fresh. Its been a flipping decent work horse car too me.

Unfortunately the steering angle sensor has decided to play games so on start up you get all the lights appear but soon as you pull off they dissappear. Suspension works with no issues in lowering, access mode, off road and the highway/motorway setting. I replaced the steering colum as originally the sterring raise/lower, out/in stopped working so replaced this and now its only going in/out so no raise or lower im afraid but other then that its all good.

Reason for sale is genuine. I bought this car with intentions to use it to tow my tack day car out to the nurburgring and up to rudskogen in Norway however I upgraded and got myself a 4.2 S/c Range rover which is more suitable for towing so this one is surplus to requirements now. Personally I wouldn't sell up if I didn't have too but courtesy of the shebeast (ex mrs), the range needs to go to help clear a few debts.

Test drives are welcome but please bare in mind the car is currently uninsured and is on a sorn so you'll be doing this at your own risk.

Car is sold as seen with no warranty given.

If you've made it this far why not go the whole way and buy it now, you know you want too.

Price is £2500.
