Mines an Oct 2018MY and not had a problem with the top screen. Sometimes slow to boot, but generally gets there before I drive off. Sounds like something fairly drastically wrong with yours if you sometimes have to wait 10 miles

chalky, get the dealer to check the condition of the battery....if its below par then it might not send power to the screen ecu straight away..

I’ve only had mine for 8 weeks, but it’s been fine, better than I expected after watching/reading reviews. It always starts up by the time I drive off and even when I move it on the drive the reversing camera comes on immediately so I don’t have to wait a few seconds. It’s got the latest software and mine is a MY2019. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I’ve had issues with both screens sporadically not loading on my 18 plate revised shape FFRR 4.4 Vogue SE which has received a series of software updates which temporarily cures the problem until it goes awol again.

I had constant software issues like this in my Jag F Pace and that was one reason I got rid of it and came back to FFRRs. Current one doesn’t have the ICTpro system and It’s one thing which makes me less keen to upgrade as it seems the bugs and gremlins persist. |

Unless the software has improved by next March I think I'll be moving to Volvo or Audi.

@Chalky. - Which MD were you using? Dick Lovett and Melksham seem to be quite good. I have blackballed Bristol MD |
