United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand
Rivian Elec veh

Just read about McGregor and Boorman's trip along the Americas on elec Harley Davidsons (80 mile range!!)

They used Rivian as support vehicles with "400" mile range (as well as installing their own recharge network along the route Shocked ) so checked out their website . $1,000 deposit secures a vehicle, from $72,500.

Also a nice snowboard/mountain video although no mention of how cold affects the range! having lived in the Rockies for a while once where the temp was on avge -10, I would be interested to see a real-life example range!!

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Have been watching the Long Way Up, the were driving the prototype pick ups so far they seem to be doing pretty well. not sure the range is 400 and the cold in the very south of Argentina and Chile did affect the range of both the bikes and the Trucks.

It’s on Apple TV and is worth a watch, little bit staged in places but watchable and interesting to see how they will manage to get it done on electric only.

They do have to do a bit of a cheat in a a few places in the first episodes, they have a genny on the back of a flatbed following them around...... not sure how long it follows them for tho haven’t seen it for a few episodes. They do have a support Sprinter with them as well carrying gear etc. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
