L405 Highway Vibration

I have a 2013 L405 Supercharged V8 and I'm having an issue with the floors and seats vibrating at 70 MPH - 80 MPH. They are 22 Inch OEM rims with Continental Cross Contact LX Sport tires on them. The vibration seems to also intensify a little bit if you let off the throttle and coast at those speeds. Last month the dealership replaced both front air struts, the front drive shaft, front differential and did a road force balance on the tires. This changed absolutely nothing and it still drives the same. Dealership is now saying that they can't fix the vibration. Does any one else experience this annoying issue? I have seen a couple people complain about this issue but have not gotten a definite answer as to what the problem is. Neutral

Thanks!!

Yes, mine is doing the same, I think......

2014 V8 SC Vogue SE with around 30k mileage, same tyres & 22” turbines. I consider it more a drone than vibration, most noticeable on coasting as you say, at first I thought it was the sound of engine braking condition when off throttle, however coasting on the freeway and selecting neutral with engine down to idle the drone continues until I get below 100kph (Sorry - Metric..), then dead smooth & quiet..!!??

JLR locally replaced sideshafts & propshafts and transfercase and diffs and virtually everything that spins while she was still under her 5 year maintenance plan, but still the same, extremely annoying.. After changing virtually everything and resolving nothing they now claim the “sensation” as being normal and therefore give up...

I read somewhere that it could well be the rim & tyre combo, unfortunately I have no real way to swop for alternatives (20”) to test so will just have to live with it..!!

Thanks for the replies - I read through that forum and actually mentioned that issue to the tire shop the other day about checking to see if the foam inside the tire has been dislodged. He of course said he has never seen that happen and that it would come up on the road force balancer if that were the case. I will definitely go to another shop and have them inspect the foam since it seems like a balancer doesn't pick it up.

Does anyone have experience with Michelin tires on the 22"? I'm thinking if all else fails I will swap to a set of Michelins. I had a steering wheel wobble on my 2010 RRS SC that nobody could figure out but switching to Michelins fixed it. I heard they use a higher quality rubber which in turn has less defects.

I've got 22" Pirelli's on my current FF and they seem fine and wobble free at the moment! SDV8 AB MY 2019
