Portugal 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
Auto gearbox

When I bought my l322 td6 I've made the transmission service with fresh oil and filter. The oil was more or less clean and no debris. At that time I mixed one bottle of Lucas Transmission fix. Now after 60.000km I made a new service and the oil is a bit dark and a lot of debris on the sump, like mud. It is possible that the Lucas additive worn the gearbox?

It’s possible the previous owner had just swapped the oil.

I don’t think I would expect the oil to be completely clean after 60000 km, I would be more concerned about the debris.

I think the only option you have is to swap the filter and fluid, and then drop the fluid again to clean as much as possible out.

Then give it a few thousand miles and then drop the oil into a very clean catch can and see if it looks Ok. Refil with the same oil If all is good. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
