Rear Wash-Wipe

Weird behaviour, but I can’t find it mentioned in the Owners or Workshop manuals and nothing came up in the search.

During the rear wash-wipe sequence everything performs as expected, but then on the penultimate wipe, the blade stops on the far (passenger side) at about a 30 degree angle from the spoiler for about 10 seconds. It’s almost like it’s "draining" excess water off itself., before returning to its parked position.

Is this normal?

It's to clear up any drips, so is normal (well, mine works that way too!)

Similar to the dry wipe on the front wipers where they do an additional wipe after using the washers. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Martin
many thanks for clearing that up. I though that was the case, but with no mention of it anywhere I thought I'd check the wisdom of this site.

Many Thanks
John

No problem. Thumbs Up

But don't expect too much wisdom from me, I've only had the car 3 weeks! Laughing

I just wish I could remember important things as well as I do car related stuff..... MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Mine does the same, and it's a good thing, as on the L322, I had to switch the wiper on one or two more times to get all the drips... It's a nice ideea to tuck it up there, but the drips were a pain... Also, did you notice, after the final wipe, the front wipers lower themselves a little more?
