Centre consul Veneer

Has anybody got any idea what the wood veneer is on the Switch panel and gear shift/ ash tray panel. The one I have is so badly damaged that it is impossible for me to make any sort of guess. It is going on a 1989 3.5 Efi. Range Rover Classic 1989

Blimey! Theres a question.......

I think if my memory serves me correctly? Wood veneer didn't change on the classics until circa 1992 and then you had options with the Vogue SE for different colours & walnuts etc etc

I believe up until that point it would have been an Oak maybe?

Hopefully someone will be along soon with a better knowledge than me sir Thumbs Up
