Analogue TV to Digital

Is there a fix for the TV now that the analogue transmission is ending? Mine's a MY07. Are the later models already set up for digital?

IIRC it was only for facelift model 2005 year and up though (ie touch screen).

I'm of the old breed with pre facelift (so no touch screen). Would be very interested in an upgrade for this model. Ash

For 2002-2005MY FFRR (pre touch screen) you need a BMW Hybrid TV tuner from an X5 (E53), 5 Series (E39) or 3 Series (E46) - they are a straight swap, plug and play with no dealer recoding and have both analogue and digital tuners built in. Thumbs Up

Be prepared to pay a premuim for one though even on eBay - probably £400+ Shocked

alan, i believe the digital changeover only began in late 2009 early 2010 so landrover wouldn't even thought about putting hybrid tuners into the full fat in 2007... ... - .- -.

Not an option AFAIK Stan, but one of the reasons I went for the facelift MY07 was that it had the digital TV tuner as standard....... Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Laughing

digital was running along side analogue for a while before the 'proper' changeover started so thats probably why LR introduced the hybrid tuner when they did.. ... - .- -.
