Illuminated Threadplates

So I have looked at a few cars a I like the illuminated thread plates. How long does the wow factor last. The car I am buying is an autobiography. So do I get Autobiography thread plates? Or Range Rover? Or just leave them un-illuminated?

All AB's have illuminated AB plates sir... So, do you think the car your looking at does not have them?

I am happy to be corrected. On the configurator, it seemed like they were an extra and on the listed options of the RR, they weren't in the list.
The garage confirmed that the car has them. So that is one thing to stop looking at.

Haven’t driven mine in the dark for a while. So TBH id forgotten they were there..... same goes with the LED ambient lights in the cabin.

If you don’t go anywhere in the dark then it’s a bit pointless. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If you let someone else wash the car, make sure they don't open the doors and tread on the plates to clean the roof. They scratch very easily

Absolutely, my original plates weren't in great condition so I fitted a new set which were Censored straight away by grit on the soles of guys cleaning the car. Next visit I stuck parcel tape over the treads which offered protection but seems to me it's best to clean your own car if you give a damn

When I bought my car (second hand) by tread plates were absolutely scratched to hell! I replaced mine with brand new Uber rare SVAutobiography ones... So, before I fitted them I PPF’d them just incase???
