I am trying my hardest to prove my P400e offers a ‘similar’ experience to 5.0 SC in terms of performance and economy despite being £3500 cheaper to buy. Let’s just say I had an autobahn moment and this was the result.

Joking aside, this is more my typical journey. I have a 7kw charger and I just plug the fatty back into the juice when I get home. The reason I’m not 100% EV here is I have run the petrol for a few mins to let it warm up in case it’s needed. Mechanical sympathy.

Many journeys EV only at so-called 250+ mpg in Land Rover speak. It costs approx £2.15 to charge from 0% to 100% and takes up to 4 hours. The first 50% or so is super quick. EV range is maybe 16 to 22 miles depending on the weather. But it’s not about the stats or the cost, I just prefer pootling along on EV, it’s really sedate. Which is why when I hit the ‘autobahn’ we all need to let off some steam, and she doesn’t sweat much for a fat lass, so tailgate me at your peril, BMW drivers!

Put some Gyeon Wetcoat on top of the Bildt Hamber double speed wax and the paintwork looks and feel fantastic.

I will have had it a week off 3 years tomorrow and it's going. Not being replaced by a new one as I don't need the space I did when I bought it and I'm not keen on the L460. Maybe I'll want one again, but for the time being I'm happy changing.

Huge fan of this colour, it just looks so right on any LR. Nice car
