L405 MY2014 is it possible to upgrade to dual screen?

I suppose I know that anything is possible, it would depend how much I want to spend.

I see that there are a number of people upgrading to the Android or Apple play systems etc. which got me thinking that there must be some dual screens which have been removed available to upgrade my standard set up.

Would I also need to upgrade something to get the infra red for the headphones?

So the question is, would this be cost effective?

Alternatively, I have seen that there is a work around should I wish to have the screen "live" while driving, is there a way to connect headphones to a non-dual screen car via bluetooth/infra red?

I assume you mean the dual view screen rather than dual screen ?

I expect the screen is just a screen - and there is a separate IR transmitter for headphones

You'd also need a source - mine has a tv tuner & USB I think, though I've only ever used the TV - does a non-dual view car have a TV tuner ?

I don't know of anyone that actually uses dual view though - very much a gimmick - you'd be far better off just buying an iPad for your passenger IMHO.

I thought all L405s had dual view screens? My 2010 L322 had it and I presumed it was standard across the range for the L405 from launch.

Yes Dual view screen.

Mine has a TV tuner,DVD player (in dash) & USB also, yes it seems tablets may be the way forward.

Yes I though that too but it seems not, mine has a standard screen only.
