I'd guess so. It's basically some kind of radio device (I'm no techie, so apologies) it beeps when you pass through the toll gate registering your passage and that creates the bill. SANEF now operate the Dartford Toll and I asked them if the device fitted to my car could be activated to do the same. The answer was no, but only because the Dartford crossing is ANPR based. |

I've just got back from France and only experienced 1 major queue on the toll roads. However that 1 queue was enough to convince me to buy a telepeage for my future journeys only because I don't like waiting but would rather coast through. |

I agree and have a tag. But and It's a big but... If the road is jammed before the payage you are still stuck even if you have a tag!
