Hi all,
Just been washing the beast and went for a quick drive.
About 1/2 way through the speakers started to crackle badly. Depending on what speed,turning into streets etc,
the crackle would come and go.
Got home and checked the rear L/H/S for water, there was 1/2 doz drops.

Have taken out the 3 supply lines to the front to kill the noise and got the other main supply for the nav system off the floor.
Ive only got the MID system and I dont use it all that often( I listen on my ph to radio from another state).

Can anyone point me in the direction of where the water would be coming in so that I can fix the problem before it
becomes bad.

water ingress could be form the rear tailgate seal which is a common problem...

some have fitted a 'water shedder' over the near side cubby electronics.
