I remember in the early 70’s it was heavy snow. As a kid I was out walking with Mum and Dad and it was eerily quite. Walking up the inclined road from Amesbury to Boscombe Down this RR drove past us up the hill, it was the only thing on the road and that’s stayed with me to this day visiting from www.rrsport.co.uk |

My first ride in a Range Rover was about 1975, I was at a country show in Lyme park where a local Land Rover club we’re taking people round an off road course to raise money for charity. I was bit there and then by the Land Rover bug and vowed I’d have a FF one day when I saw what it could effortlessly do, happy birthday Range-Rovers |

My first drive was in 1989 when i worked for a LR dealership and was 'shuved into' delivering RRC's both NEW and to existing service customers... I was then bitten by the bug that's shaped my working life!!! |

1982 and I found a W plate in Sahara gold in the classifieds of the Birmingham Evening Mail, which I persuaded my Dad to buy as his company car, to replace an SD1. I drove it and that was it, had to have one. Dad had 4, including a Monteverdi 4 door before having Discos in retirement. I drove all four of the classics he had and loved them - used one to move out of a student house, which seriously impressed my housemates!
