I know this topic has been done to death but is it possible to check what version of maps I have got as I don't want to shell out for the official USB upgrade only to find that it's already been upgraded. I understand from various threads that the maps although updated won't be up to date, if that makes sense. Further to this will I have the GEN2.1 HDD system on my L405? Geoff

1. Go to the "Destination Entry" screen from the "Home Menu".
2. Press and hold the area between the two "T" in the word "Destination" for 10 seconds.
3. There will be a transition to the "Diagnosis Menu", press "Parts Information".
4. Read the "Disk Information" number in the format Vxx.xx.xx
5. To exit this menu, turn off the ignition and turn it on again. 2015 4.4 AB

The above tells you what version you have installed. 2018 maps are available.  2015 4.4 AB

Mine said v 30.13.02 and just above it 0D71 those are the numbers but what do they tell me? Geoff

So another upgrade coming, saw the Powerful video and although it looks a bit of a long winded process it seemed to work. I assume it's a later map than 2013. Geoff

the feedback/review online is not good at all!
they offer a 2019 version which I have been told hasn't been made yet ? various other LR's this one is still the best
