Climate control

Hi

Hope someone can help, I have noticed the last few days that when I have the dial set to 16 on both sides the passenger side blows ice cold but the drivers side blows lukewarm then after about 20 mins it starts to cool but not has cold has passenger side. Any idea's what it could be.

Thanks for any advice

It would help if you fill in details about your model under the profile heading above...

Is that from the centre dash vents or all of them..? Pete

I thought I did, i will sort that in a min.

It's all vents on drivers, so the centre left blows cold but right warm and the vent near drivers window blows warm

Thanks

It won't let me change details about model, I change everything in drop down menu but when I go to choose colour it gives me a message to choose model and year first which I have already done ?

Chances are it's a failed blend flap motor, a diagnostic will tell you which one...

When you update you car details make sure you scroll down and click apply, you then get a little car icon under your avatar, when we hover over it up comes your details... Thumbs Up Pete

Not got one of those so don't know how much it will do... IID is the way to go if you are keeping the fatty, well worth the outlay and always worth about 75% of the purchase price second hand so it's an investment to (using man maths of course..!!) Pete

Hi Neil, appreciate yours is an L322, but I had similar aircon symptoms with my L405 a while back. Just needed a re-gas. Some more details here :-

I have an icarsoft as well and am still learning its capabilities, it will read (as Im sure you know) all JLR codes so if a code has been generated for the Blend Motors then it will show it. But what is useful is the ability to read any data stream so in most sections under diagnostics there is an extra menu item to select which data streams you wish to monitor.

However I am still considering an IID its just the tie to one VIN that's stopped me so far. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

IID will read and clear faults on any Land Rover that they work on, it won't read or change the CCF file, you can add a second vin for full use for £60 Pete
