it won't be long Thumbs Up - give it 12 months when the new ones on the horizon - its always been the same I've seen it with the Classic, P38 and next the L322.

The good old days were when you could buy a 12 month old vehicle for half money and the dealers were shlitting themselves about retained stock and offering even lower px figures to encourage private sales to offload elswhere and go in for a straight deal.

The current high prices are due to one thing only, the recession and business men playing it safe or not being able to afford to buy new from 08 onwards. Most of the new RR's being sold recently are replacements for 36 or 48 month agreement vehicles whereby the "owners" have a monthly payment anyway and have to chop it in for a new vehicle every 36 or 48 months.

Most of my friends don't ever own theirs, they just lease through the business, know what they are into every month with a payment and then give it back for a new one every 3 or 4 years. There were also some absolutely fantastic offers on 3.6 Autobiogs late last year - because of the new 4.4

Interestingly we don't miss our FFRR. I thought I would.
But whatever you drive regularly you just kind of get used to. Well, I did anyway.
And I've still got a nice Land Rover to play with. Thumbs Up

Sad I feel your pain nbunney...

...it's now 15 days, 5 hours, 47 minutes and 23...24...25...26 seconds...since I waved goodbye to mine Big Cry

Just replaced it with a tidy little VW Golf R32 - completely different end of the spectrum, I know...but a lovely little car and quick as Censored !

Whistle I will have another Range Rover in the near future though...
