I remember the days when you could see no more than 100yds in Oxford Street because of the blue/grey fug from Buses & Taxis, you used to get smogs too.

I agree with Sam! We have become a Nation of scare mongers. Strange but not too long ago when it was a case of when all the lights will go out.

Different type of pollution to the good old days (Actually there were bad old days) - it's smaller particles and NOX from modern engines we are dealing with and which have major health consequences in urban areas where concentrations are high. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
