First Range Rover, hello.

Hi folks,

Just put a deposit on a very nice 2012 L322 4.4 tdv8 to be delivered next weekend. First LR product and a touch excited.

Thought I’d say hello, as no doubt will be searching the forum if I encounter any issues!

Pictures to follow on delivery.

Cheers,

James.

I assume from the profile info that it's a Silver Westminster.

Hi James,

Welcome.

I have the same 2012, 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE and just love the car.

You will find everyone here very helpful and friendly. There is also a shed load of info on all sorts of issues - by far the best RR forum I have found since joining several weeks ago.

Good luck with your FFRR - I hope you enjoy yrurs as much as I enjoy mine.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, very much appreciate it.

Pictures will follow tomorrow once delivered!

spec is Autobiography, in bronze with a black interior. I was a bit iffy on the colour combo from the pictures, but it does look good in the flesh. And it felt like a genuine car at a good price... (famous last words)

Question for those with AB/Vogue SE - how do you take care of your semi-analine seats?

Best regards to all.

James.

Autoglym leather cleaner and their leather balm is what I use. Keeps that nice leather smell going!

As promised picture of the new ride. Was very impressed on journey home, big change in refinement over the 2003 land cruiser it will replace.

Cheers folks,

Yes it’s growing on me as the days go! Wasn’t my first Colour choice but it’s something different to all the shades of grey and black on the road!

Yes the LC has been a great work horse and I’ll be keeping it as back up; and for tougher, altogether rougher, jobs!

New tyres and a valet to follow.

All the best.

James.

Nice. Remember to get a 4 wheel laser alignment when you get new rubber. Make sure the place can lock suspension in Tight Tolerance Mode too. Stops the car fighting itself when being adjusted.
