Puncture so need wheels in order!

Driving home at 85 miles per hour on M11 and some git starts flashing me! So i pulled into the middle lane and let him pass with him frantically pointing and saying "Flat tyre , Flat tyre!"

So - ive screwed the tyre and the alloy !

Did have some cheap Stormer diamond cut 20" from a company in Manchester but after 6 months the laquer has peeled and the wheel look like crap!

So - new wheels are in order as its cheaper to buy 4 new wheels and Economy tyres (which were not that bad and have worn well!) than buy 4 new good tyres!

So my question is - has anyone got 22" on a TD6? are they a complete No-No as my 20" didnt cause any vibration which has been mentioned on here before.

If not then its a set of 20" all silver stormers i think CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

I run 22s no probs although they are prone to pot hole damage due to the tyre profile and no give in the wall

I'm happy with 22's on my TD6.

Had vibrations when sat at lights in drive with brake on but this was resolved with wheels re-balanced and 4wheel laser alignment. I removed my 22's when the bad weather was here and all wheels are still straight and no cracks.

I didn't notice a big difference when swapping from the 18's to the 22's if anything I preferred the ride with the 22's feels more stable on cornering and motorway speeds but does feel pot holes more.

Your always going to get people slating the 22's saying there to big and not designed for the range rover but it's upto you what want.

I can't think why hes a git? Am I missing something? Hes tried to do you a favour.. and probably thinks the driver infront is a git for showering his car with grit Confused

Elpeede - it was Tongue in cheek calling the driver a git! I originally thought it was just the usually impatient driver flashing to get past! CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

just a small curb mark but the laquer peeling is the main problem CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8
