Forced regen to the levels down. Only seen the yellow warning once since I’ve had it and it cleared itself

Hopefully will stay down - need to get the BT gap tool to monitor it

Indeed. Usually caused by 2 things:

1) Short, frequent journeys with no long runs. You'll be forever battling yellow and red DPF lights. Buy petrol Rolling with laughter
2) Induction air leaks will override any long runs as it fills up too fast Thumbs Up

Lots of info on here for usual culprits of no.2 = 4 x original flimsy donut hoses, inlet manifold leaks or loose throttle body clip/hose

Might use Gotts for some preventative maintenance work in June. Did you get a loaner? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Trying to only use the car for long journeys (once I get the starting issue sorted). My work is 30 miles away down the a34/m3 so a good blast, but only ever 7-10 days or so atm.

I open the bonnet frequently to just have a look ! so will check those bits, if the 4 hoses you mention are on the top, they look fairly new. I’m going to document all the bits it’s had soon and contribute to that thread,
but it’ll take me a while!

Yep got a loaner - new Vauxhall (I think Corsa). Did the job
