New member, new owner, same old smile

Hi everyone,

Just had (contactlessly delivered Smile ) my first RR; a 2007 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in grey with black leather.

Have had sports cars for many years, but growing up a little (well, until I can justify them again!) and so gone a slightly different route for a family car. Love it so far.

Slight sticking caliper where it's rested for a while (i'll get a new one and sort, happy with a spanner) but if that's as bad as my first few months with it are, i'm a happy man.

Off to get a battery charger (especially during these dormant times), anything else I should be looking at? Code readers or similar?

Love the site - so much great info, really helpful for a new boy
Thanks

Thanks - are you referring to this?

https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool/

I quite fancied being able to change elements; DRL, mirror closing, sat nav on the move etc - I can do all that through that tool I take it, as well as check errors as and when they come along?

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Look on other forums for a second hand IID Bluetooth. I think I saw one on the Disco forum earlier.
New, Island 4x4 is cheapest.
Chargers - get a Ctek mxs10. It has the supply feed option which is vital for CCF updates and you can use it when cleaning inside to stop battery going flat. You can buy a towing electrics socket adaptor too from the shop on here. Works with 13pin or twin 7 but not the single 7 Thumbs Up
Get the adaptor with the traffic light comfort connector and opt for the extra cable length Thumbs Up Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils
1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie"
Many, many other Landies over the years
