On the 405, the inner wheel arch liners are like a woven fibre based stuff.

How do you get them clean and looking factory fresh.

What a faf that guy is........just use a wet and dry vac like you would on any carpet.

What are the advantages of using this fabric material for the arch lining?

Sound deadening, stops the sound from the main culprit in modern cars.... tyre noise.

It also reduces water spray when the roads are wet and helps with visibility for vehicles passing or being passed.

I thought that was a reflection but you're right it looks like a serious crack. I'd be seeing to that before I spend all day cleaning my wheel arch linings but I guess you can't get Autoglass out at the moment. Current: FF Westminster money pit

Tried watching but fell asleep after about the second wheel nut. Made it through by turning off the sound off.
